Your Tasks
- Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the department.
- Operate as a member of the production team and ensure that the department is maintained in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
- Complete shift reports as required and to carry out appropriate shift handovers including any specific production relevant information.
- To ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents, accidents or hazards are duly reported.
- Liaise with the Shift Leader and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the equipment or production problems.
Our Requirements
- Operate a Fork Lift Truck, however training can be provided.
- Attend a one day Health & Safety course.
- Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Reasonable standard of secondary education.
- Good communication and team work skills.
- Able to work 12 hour shifts, days and nights (4 on/4 off).
- Able to provide holiday and absence cover, as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From £15.47 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 42 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cumnock: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
