Starting Sept 2023, as a HLTA you should be highly skilled and have good knowledge of specific aspects of the curriculum.
About the role
You will be responsible for providing a high level of support to the class which is in your care. Being flexible in your work is expected as you will be working across EY, KS1 and KS2. Not only should you be confident working 1:1 and in small groups but you will also play a vital role in ensuring that the pupils comprehensively understand the work set. Other responsibilities may include covering classes, PPA and planning and teaching your own lessons.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Higher Level TEaching Assistant you will:
- Can provide observation, assessment and be able to feedback to Class Teacher.
- Hold a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant Certificate
- Have experience of the national curriculum, phonics, and an educational setting.
- Be flexible and creative when supporting teaching.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Muyst hold a level 4 qualification or higher.
