We are a family-owned meat wholesaler based in Hemel Hempstead - and we are looking for a delivery driver to join our team.
You will have a winning way with people from all walks of life, be organised and thorough, with a good eye for detail, as well as be reliable, positive, flexible and have excellent communication skills - and live within 30 mins of Hemel. You will also need to be fit and have a current driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
You will arrive each morning (Mon-Fri) at Smithfield market around 4am in a company supplied van. Your duties will include the hauling of meat from our suppliers at Smithfield and loading it, then delivering to our customers. Once your deliveries for the day are completed, the rest of the day is yours.
In return, we'll offer you a competitive rate of pay as well as many other benefits, including a van to be used for work purposes, meat allowance (at cost), bonuses, and paid sick leave. We will train you in all aspects of the operation, ensuring that you are fully equipped for your role.
Please Note: This job requires an early morning start (with a corresponding early finish) and lifting heavy weight (ie, meat). You should not apply if either of these are not for you.
